Game Development
I'm the technical half of the team at SQYD.studio
Currently, we have a single game released on Steam: BACKFIRE on Steam
BACKFIRE was originally launched as a mobile game, and I worked on porting the game to PC. This project taught me:
- How to use the Unity Engine Input System to handle input from multiple device types.
- How to work within an existing code base.
- How to setup a game to easily target multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, and Android).
- How to integrate with the Steamworks API to implement achievements and cloud saves.
